The Weeknd is beginning the rollout for his next album with the release of the project’s lead single, “Take My Breath” from the album “The Dawn”. The song finds him crooning over upbeat synth pop.
The Weeknd revealed back in July that he was well on his way to completing the follow-up to 2020’s multi-Platinum After Hours, saying he was in the process of “massaging it now, being sweet to it. giving it some tlc.” He also hinted that it could drop before his After Hours tour begins at the start of 2022.
On the song he sings:
